How to Prepare Your Body for GM Diet – Day 5?:
All the bananas and milk you had consumed on Day 4 of the GM diet plan can leave you with lessened appetite and hunger pangs. So, you can prepare your mind to eat small portions of meat, preferably beef as per the original GM Diet plan to get protein and fiber. If you are vegetarian, then replace beef with brown rice, but tomatoes are a must!
The savoury, tangy taste of these foods can bring back your appetite and make you feel better again!
GM Diet – Day 5 Sample Meal Plan:
As mentioned earlier, you are advised to eat beef in small portions today, along with a healthy dose of tomatoes. You can continue having the GM diet soup to energize your body. Keep drinking 10-12 glasses of water throughout the day to stay hydrated and flush out the excess uric acid from the body. Vegetarians can replace beef with brown rice.
If you are a
- Non-vegetarian, but do not eat beef, then you can replace it with Chicken (500 gms), Fish (500gms) or Pork (500gms).
- Vegetarian, you can add high protein foods like sprouts, cottage cheese, tofu, etc. along with brown rice.

You can start the day with 2-3 pieces of grilled chicken/beef/fish/pork with 1 bowl of GM Diet Soup. This can keep you satiated for longer hours of the day.
Stick to lemon water or plain water
Have one chicken/fish/beef patty without the bread and serve it with some freshly cut tomato slices. You will find this very filling and satisfying.
Another glass of lemon water will do. If you are hungry, have some GM diet soup or eat a few tomato slices.
Keep it light, yet tasty and nutritious with some beef/chicken soup and 2 tomatoes sliced. You may add a very little salt, some pepper and lemon juice for added taste.

Begin your day with some warm tomato soup. You can add grilled cottage cheese cubes for pumping up your protein levels.
If you are hungry, then have 1 bowl of GM Diet Soup. This can be light and satisfying to your stomach.
Treat yourself to some tasty brown rice pulao with tomatoes. Add one or two whole spices while preparing it. You can also add some sprouts for extra crunch and protein.
You had a heavy lunch in the afternoon. So, compensate that with a bowl of GM diet soup or stick to plain water if you are not too hungry.
You can have one more cup of brown rice and tomato pulao or plain brown rice with some grilled tomatoes.
- You are allowed to consume around 4-6 medium-sized tomatoes on Day 5
- Do not eat large portions of meat or brown rice, as they can sit up as fat deposits

Today, you have consumed good amounts of protein and carbs. So, you may feel the urge to burn them over a workout. Unlike the first four days, on which your body was still coping up with the changes, Day 5 can set the right mood for a slightly intense exercise program. You can hit the gym, do some cardio, strengths and cross fit. This must be done within the limits of your body capacity.
If you feel tired or lethargic, take up some easy exercises like yoga, running, jogging etc. instead.
